Technical Experts – Nigeria Water And Sanitation At Engility Corporation

Responsibilities And Duties

International Resources Group (IRG), an Engility company, is currently seeking technical specialists for an anticipated USAID-funded water and sanitation activity in Nigeria.

IRG Is Seeking Technical Experts With Current Knowledge Of The Water Sector In Nigeria And Expertise In One Or More Of The Following Areas

  • Water/sanitation utility establishment, management, privatization, and/or reform
  • Water/sanitation service delivery and reform, including both provision and regulation
  • Reform of state water entities and institutions (financial management, governance, human resources and related areas)
  • Private sector engagement and participation within the water/sanitation sector
  • Water sector financing, including tariff structures and reform, operation and maintenance financing, cost recovery, capital improvements and system expansion, and related areas
  • Rural water service provision
  • Fecal sludge management
  • Business model development for sustainable urban sanitation

  • Water Supply, Wastewater and Sanitation Specialist

  • Water Utility Reform Advisor and Specialist
  • Legislative Reform/Policy Advisor and Specialist

  • Water/Wastewater Tariff Specialist

  • Stakeholder Engagement Specialist
  • Knowledge Management and Communications Specialist

These are contingent positions based on funding from the client.

Minimum Tangible Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in relevant technical area preferred
  • A minimum of five years of experience designing and leading implementation of interventions in one or more of the target areas listed above
  • USAID project experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Nigeria experience preferred
