Job Title: Pricing Manager
Reports to: Senior Manager Revenue Management &Pricing

Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop a competitive fare structure for RwandAir’s network
- Conduct competitive analysis for RwandAir’s O&Ds in terms of pricing
- Establish prices and rules according to market segments to ensure maximum optimization of revenues
- Establish fuel surcharges across the network
- Work closely with the Revenue Management manager and team to realize profitability for the airline
- Monitor and control all pricing activities to deliver expected yields, revenue and passenger targets;
- Provide input and Participate in the identification and development of new business opportunities for revenue growth. (SPA’s, Code shares, Commercial Agreements/Partnerships);
- File all WB’s Fare levels and fuel surcharges with the filing distributor and ensure Fares are available in all channels as well as conform to all government regulations of the different markets;
- Initiate, plan, negotiate and implement Special Prorate Agreements with other carriers and set competitive fares to boost WB’s revenue;
- Identify, initiate and negotiate staff agreements Zonal Employee Discount (ZED) & Multilateral Interline Business Agreements; (MIBA);
- Liaise with Sales Area to develop and seek IATA adoption and government approvals for interlineable IATA Fares for best possible value in terms of Network & Revenue;
- Develop the pricing strategy and pricing standard operating procedures for RwandAir;
- Lead, motivate and guide the pricing team to enhance productivity and efficiency of the unit;
- Promote learning and growth by training, mentoring, coaching and transferring maximum knowledge to the pricing staff.
Qualification
- BA or BSc level, preferably in statistics, mathematics, economics and accounting fields
- At least 10 years in airline pricing environment with at least 5 years as pricing manager
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Excellent analytical capability and very good with numbers
- Excellent knowledge of airline pricing and fare structure
- ATPCO filing expertise, including higher level categories
- Very good computer skills.
- Post-graduate diploma or IATA/UFTA from a recognized IATA certified institution is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of SITA Gabriel inventory system advantageous
