We are now looking for a Sr. Sales Manager, Technology Licensing, China

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • develop and execute the China sales strategy from incubation to high growth stages within target accounts and ecosystems throughout China
  • drive industry adoption and revenue growth through key partnerships in the value chain including but not limited to service providers, mobile and CE device manufacturers and IC vendors
  • contribute as an integral member of the technology licensing sales team
  • develop and execute strategic plans at the local China level and key customer engagement plans that deliver recurring revenue
  • execute against near term quarterly revenue, design win objectives and key performance metrics
  • apply deep domain expertise in innovating and implementing new technology licensing business models
  • instill a high level of cooperation with cross-functional stakeholders in marketing, engineering, operations, and corporate support functions
  • consolidate and escalate key China customer feedback into the organization
  • be an assertive leader in customer negotiations and agreement closure
  • participate in key strategic planning forums that guide market and product direction, new business models, and geographic expansion plans
  • ensure alignment of business and customer objectives to create a unified, responsive customer and service-oriented organization
  • develop a mid-long term plan and foundation consistent and aligned with multi-year global sales initiatives
  • serve as the customer advocate (voice of the customer) in product planning and business practices

 

Knowledge, skills, experience and education required

  • 10+ years successful track record in international technology licensing sales and account management
  • extensive experience in the digital media industry with emphasis on licensing technology into mobile and CE device manufacturers
  • business and/or technical education, Masters’ degree preferred
  • strong ability to execute individually and coordinate globally
  • ability to handle complex situations, yet translate those results to easily digestible messages, communications, and presentations.
  • highly collaborative style, team player with strong influencing skills and sense of urgency
  • demonstrated success and discipline in creating and implementing sales enablement and pipeline tools, processes and systems
  • operate with high level of transparency, integrity and bring discipline, focus and accountability into the organization
  • maintaining an open and cooperative atmosphere
  • think and act creatively
  • exceptional ability to listen, understand and share customer needs
