<p><b>Key Responsibilities</b><br /><u>Sales process</u><br />·&nbsp; Maintain open lines of communication with major suppliers, key players, agents and A.P.M<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; Moller staff within Zimbabwe and overseas.<a name='more'></a><br />·&nbsp; Manage the selling process to external customers, including pricing contract negotiations<br />·&nbsp; Undertake projects and tenders as requested<br />·&nbsp; Pro-actively search, qualify, develop and engage into new customer relationships<br />·&nbsp; Close liaison with customer services and credit controllers to ensure all operational and <br />&nbsp;&nbsp; credit control procedures are adhered to context<br />·&nbsp; Identify account needs, opportunities and key buying factors for existing customers, and<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; formalize those into account plans and strategies<br />·&nbsp; Ensure full penetration into and mapping of customers organization<br />·&nbsp; Seek to continuously improve customer satisfaction<br />·&nbsp; Ensure adequate update of relevant Maersk IT Systems (MARS, INSIGHT, SCV etc) for<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; which s/he has responsibility<br />·&nbsp; Obtain overall detailed knowledge of commodity market, client’s<br />·&nbsp; Monitor outstanding freight and adherence to agreed contractual credit terms (if any)<br />·&nbsp; Promote E-Commerce products</p>
<p><u>Customer Relationships</u><br />·&nbsp; Own the overall customer relationship for existing customers, as well as potential new<br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;customers<br />·&nbsp; Establish strong, multi-level, win/win relationships with new and existing customers<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; (including main decision makers and influencers)<br />·&nbsp; Effectively handover to Customer Service, Operations, Finance etc for terms and conditions<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; agreed with customers in their contracts</p>
<p><u>Post sales support</u>
<ul>
<li>Actively engage Customer Service into the customer relationship to ensure customers know relevant contact points in case of service failures</li>
<li><span style="color: windowtext;">Provide service support and claims resolution for extraordinary issues</span></li>

<li>Educational background, within shipping/logistics and/or sales &amp; marketing/economics</li>

<p><a href="/"><br /><a href="/">Youth Programme Advisor &#8211; Zimbabwe</a><br />MS Zimbabwe is looking for a Youth Programme Advisor to support the implementation of the Operation Day’s Work (OD) project from 2010 to 2012.</p>
<p>The advisor will work closely with 2 MS partners i.e. Youth Ahead Zimbabwe (YAZ) and Bulawayo Youth Survival Alternative Project (BUIYSAP).</p>
<p><a href="/">Job tasks include:</a><br />Train partner organisations in designing and implementation of youth leadership training courses.<br />Technical and innovative support for vocational skills training programmes for the youth.<br />Technical support to YAZ and BUIYSAP in project management, budgeting and monitoring. <br />Facilitate networking among YAZ, BUIYSAP and other like minded youth organisations and networks in and outside Zimbabwe.<br />Facilitate exchange visits/ study tours between OD membership, MS volunteers/membership and the YAZ, BUIYSAP membership.<br />Together with YAZ and BUIYSAP develop strategies to ensure smooth flow of information between the organisations, MS Zimbabwe and the OD project office in Denmark.<br />More specified job tasks are listed in the detailed job description available at www.ms.dk</p>
<p><a href="/">Required qualifications:</a><br />Minimum 3 years of relevant post graduate work experience.<br />Knowledge of and demonstrated experience from developing countries<br />Practical experience in: <br />- designing and facilitating capacity building interventions for community based organisations/private voluntary organisations/NGOs in developing countries.<br />- facilitating youth training programmes and workshops/courses, particularly youth leadership training.<br />Experience with developing LFA formats, monitoring and evaluation experience as well as organisational development and managing budgets.<br />English language proficiency.<br />Flexibility, tolerance and openness.<br />Coaching &#038; advisory skills.<br />Danish language proficiency an added advantage<br />Work experience in youth focused organisations would be an added advantage.<br />MS Zimbabwe is presently the country programme of MS ActionAid Denmark. MS Zimbabwe is currently in a merger process with ActionAid Zimbabwe and it is anticipated that within the next couple of years MS Zimbabwe will become part of an independent National ActionAid Zimbabwe programme.</p>
<p>The Youth Programme Advisor will thus be working within an organisational transition period.</p>
