Job Summary    
     
    Lead the development, maintenance and governance of the enterprise systems architecture and ensure effective end-to-end (multi-tier) management of multiple enterprise IT and telco-centric systems resources in order to ensure availability of adequate capacity to meet business requirements in a sustainable and optimized manner.
     
     
     
Principal Functions    
     
    Promote a strategic and integrated approach for solutions to enterprise (systems) architecture issues across all functional boundaries

Lead the development of an implementation plan for the enterprise architecture based on business requirements and IT strategies

Oversee the documentation of all architecture design and analysis work to create a repository of enterprise systems architecture knowledge

Lead the analysis of the current IT environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement

Consult with project teams as appropriate to modify the enterprise architecture in order to accommodate project needs

Develop and manage a framework for continuous capacity planning and monitoring with a view to proactively meeting and anticipating business demands across all IT systems

Oversee capacity planning and business/ technology demand management across critical IT systems and BSS/ OSS platforms to ensure that the business is adequately positioned to meet/ lead commercial and enterprise demands

Oversee capacity planning and business/ technology demand management across critical IT systems and BSS/ OSS platforms to ensure that the business is adequately positioned to meet/ lead commercial and enterprise demands in a consistently efficient and effective manner

Ensure alignment of capacity management activities across all technology functions within the organization

Interface with other teams within and outside the IT function in the process of delivering business IT capabilities

Interface with vendors, suppliers and partners to ensure effectively optimized adoption of solutions

Track and evaluate usage statistics of deployed systems and advise on required capacity provisioning actions

     
Educational Requirements    
     
    First degree or equivalent in IT, Computer Engineering, and/ or any other relevant discipline

Postgraduate/ professional qualification and/ or certification in a related field, e.g TOGAF, ZF, etc, will provide a distinct advantage

     
Experience,Skills & Competencies    
     
    Between six (6) and eight (8) years directly relevant post-NYSC work experience, with at least most recent three (3) years in a supervisory or specialist-level role

Ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate:

Strong experience in multiple/ diverse technology environments and domains including any related to technical infrastructure, application development, middleware, database management and operations

Good understanding of telecommunications business and technology model

Practical working knowledge (backed by hands-on exposure) of key mobile CSP network elements

Strong experience in planning, building and running telecoms BSS/ OSS and related platforms

Very good understanding of business analysis and project management methods

Very good conceptual and analytical thinking

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
