Business Development Professionals (Ref:003)
A business development professional, focuses primarily on reviewing emerging markets, building fresh market ideas and thrusts, identifying new prospective business hubs, and evaluating business opportunities for new ventures. The professional also ensures that existing business succeed.
Key Accountabilities will include:
- Studying the market to provide focused, well-researched forecasts that will support the company’s business planning
- Supporting senior management in augmenting sales strategies and targets
- Developing new advert sales relationships to increase business volume
- Identifying and exploiting business opportunities
- Bringing in new customers while retaining existing ones
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- At least five-years experience in marketing, sales or customer service However, less experienced candidates with out-of-the box ideas will be considered
- Demonstrable exposure to global marketing trends especially internet marketing
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and any other language
- Good negotiation skills, market-assessment techniques and insights
- Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with public and private partners within a global network
- Experience in sponsor and partner cultivation and management
- Must be well travelled within and outside Nigeria
