Pacorini Metals is a global metals warehousing and
logistics business. The principle activity is the provision of
LME warehousing and associated services to traders,
producers and consumers of base metals. In addition to
the LME business, Pacorini Metals is also active and
growing within warehousing and value add services for
ferro alloys and minor metals.
Pacorini Metals has its Head Office in Zug, Switzerland
and operates in various regions in semi-autonomous
offices with their own corporate functions including sales
representatives.
Key responsibilities include:
General management and coordination
of office functions
Management of warehouse operations,
staff and service providers
LME and physical stock monitoring and
reconciliations
Warehouse portfolio management and
optimization
Corporate development and projects
Periodic and monthly reporting
Knowledge and skills:
5-10 years of senior management
experience in related industry
Bachelor’s degree required; Masters
degree in related field preferred
Strong computer proficiency with
experience in Microsoft Office suite
(Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
Must be proficient with budgets,
financial analysis and have a strong
orientation to customer service
excellence
Abilities:
Organizational and people management
Knowledge of metals market preferred
Self starter with strong teamwork skills to
bring together the right people as
appropriate
Must possess ability to communicate
effectively with a diverse group of people
from entry level associates to the CEO
and customers with varied levels of
sophistication
Sound understanding of internal
commercial and risk management
procedures
