TECHNICAL STORES OFFICER
Job Summary: To provide a comprehensive inventory control system encompassing requirements analysis, projected parts forecasts and ensuring materials availability at all time to meet scheduled maintenance in accordance with the given budgets.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
• Relates directly with Lufthansa Technics, Lufthansa Cityline, Boeing, Bombardier, all component manufacturers, vendors etc.
Location: Lagos – Nigeria
Job Description: • To ensure that the inventory control levels (re-order, minimum and maximum level etc) are set foe efficiency on consumable items to prevent over and under stocking.
• Advice Engineering (Technical services, Maintenance Planning etc) in relation to aircraft pre-loads
• Identification of surplus and/or redundant aircraft parts for early disposal
• To make requisition for stock replenishment when the re-order level is reached.
• Maintenance of a comprehensive item register including their prices t provide instant information as required.
• To assist in physical stock checking and stock taking regularly or intermittently.
• Follow up on notable issues to aircraft on maintenance at third parties to ensure
early return of removed items for transfer or repair.
• Separation of Home base stock from Pool stock and maintenance of records to that effect.
• Preparation of daily/weekly stock report for management decision.
• Any other jobs that may be assigned from time to time.
Required skill set & Qualification: • Detailed knowledge of ATA coding
• A minimum of 4 years working experience
• Proficiency in word processing and data entry
• An understanding of the safety and reliability issues surrounding aircraft components/systems.
• A minimum of OND in Store Keeping, Marketing, Accounting, Business Administration, etc. A student member of CIPSM will be an added advantage.
• Proven Team skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to manage project.
