Our client is a leading Oil & Gas services company.
Job description
The Subsea Operations Coordinator will be coordinating surface operations, equipment and tools, test, inventory, offshore shipping, maintenance, safety and environmental control.Key accountabilities include:
- Ensuring the effective utilization of equipment and personnel, maximizing the efficiency and productivity of the subsea operations.
- Ensuring a proactive approach is taken when planning goals and actions,
- Ensuring that corrective actions and preventative actions are put in place before issues arise,
- Assisting to consolidate forecasts and place orders to ensure correct inventory levels are maintained,
- Utilizig Purchasing supply chain to obtain quality product at low cost.
- Interfacing with other areas including Field Service, Sales, Materials, Purchasing, Engineering, Quality Control and Accounting
Who we are looking for
With a degree in Business or Engineering or equivalent experience, you have a minimum of 5 years in distribution operations or related functions.
You are familiar with offshore operations.
Good communications and interpersonal skills are critical in order to interface with and motivate all levels of persons.
