QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE VARIOUS
POSITIONS AND METHOD OF APPLICATION
Computer literacy is required for all positions
1. Senior Lecturer (CONUASS 05): Applicants must be authorities in the
relevant field with Ph.D. degree or Post-graduate Fellowship specialist in the
relevant field (for the College of Health Sciences) from any recognized
University/Institution with substantial scholarly publications. Applicants must
have had at least SIX years University full-time teaching and research experience
with ability to initi9ate and supervise research projects. Administrative
experience will be an advantage. Successful applicants must be able to give
academic and professional leadership in the field.
2. Lecturer I (CONUASS 04): Candidates must normally possess a Ph.D degree
in the relevant fields for the College of Health Sciences, a basic degree in
Medicine (MB:BS) and Postgraduate Fellowship are required. Three years of
post-doctoral teaching and research experience are required except for the
College of Health Sciences.
3. Lecturer II (CONUASS 03): A Ph.D degree or MB:BS in the relevant field.
4. Assistant Lecturer (CONUASS 02): Candidates must have Master’s degree in
the relevant field.
5. Graduate Assistant (CONUASS 01): Candidates must have a degree with a

must possess first School Leaving Certificate and Trade Test Grade
I in Road Maintenance plus 6 years experience with reputable Road
construction Company. OR Candidate with
WAEC/SSCE/NABTEB/NECO/CRAFT CERT. or its equivalent with at
least 4 credits in relevant subject plus at least 4 years working
experience.
II Mechanical services Unit:
i) Mechanical Engineering II (CONTISS 07): Candidates must
possess (5) five O’level credits in SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB in
relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics plus
a good University Degree in Mechanical Engineering with COREN
(Council for Regulations of Engineering in Nigeria) Registration and
special interest in facilities and project management.
