Job Purpose/Scope
Key Responsibilities •Accountable for ensuring compliance with local regulations, Good Clinical Practices and policies in the conduct of clinical trials

•Scientific / medical suitable trainings and refreshments for the commercial department

•Support the set up, conduct and follow up of clinical trials within the region

•Follow up antimicrobial surveillance testing programs and surveys initiated in the region

•As back up of the Named Safety Contact for the area, support the day to day management of pharmacovigilance for all products marketed and in development (clinical trials), Pharma, Consumer and Vaccines. This includes ensuring compliance with all local regulations and global pharmacovigilance requirements

•Ensure the review of promotional and training materials

•Ensure the handling of internal and external medical/scientific information queries/requests, and the maintenance of an appropriate medical intelligence across the whole area

•Support the management of departmental local SOPs

•Ensure Self Inspection of all activities

•Ensure the handling of medical meetings in compliance with SOPs, Policies and Scientific engagement guidelines
Qualifications, Experience •At least 4 years experience in a similar role

•Strong medical background – must be a qualified medical doctor
