We currently have an exciting opportunity for two Marketing Co-ordinators to join the Marketing & Audiences team – one working on BBC One, and one working on BBC Three. Both roles assist the Marketing Manager and Marketing Executive in the management of the day to day delivery of marketing content across a variety of different genres and marketing platforms for the relevant service.
The BBC’s Marketing and Audiences (M&A) team help to shape new products, commissioning strategies and editorial propositions informed by audience insight – which are then communicated to our audiences through compelling brand strategies, campaigns and audience engagement.
Role Responsibility
Audiences are at heart of everything we do at the BBC and ensuring that this remains so is the role of our Marketing and Audiences (M&A) teams. The TV marketing team within this brings the outside in via research and insight and this is the basis of our brand strategies, campaigns and audience engagement.
In this team there is an exciting opportunity within both the BBC One and BBC Three marketing teams to work closely with the channel to reach audiences by delivering innovative and engaging marketing campaigns for the brand and its shows; including dramas, documentaries, comedy, entertainment shows , and shortform content.
The Marketing Co-ordinator will also be responsible for administrative and budgetary support relevant to their activities.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful individual will have a good understanding of the broadcast industry or a similar brand facing business this will be coupled with experience of delivering multi media campaigns and assisting on end to end marketing campaigns. In addition you will have experience in, and a passion for digital marketing and social networking. You will a have proven ability to drive creative innovation with evidenced creative achievements. Additionally you will be a strong communicator with the ability to establish and manage stakeholder relationships. You will need to be self-motivated, extremely organised, with a passion for innovative marketing techniques but not afraid to ask for help when you need it.
