HALO Trust, when you embark on a career with HALO you will join a team of people with a shared commitment to making a difference in some of the most vulnerable communities in the world. HALO offers a full six months training package, therefore you do not require previous knowledge of landmine clearance or ordnance disposal. We welcome natural leaders who are resilient and self-motivated.
Your training will prepare you to manage operations within one of our HALO programmes, where you could be leading between 250 to 1000 local employees. You will learn technical fieldskills including mine clearance, ordnance disposal and minefield survey as well as other skills such as proposal writing, finance, logistics, security and quality management.
Working for HALO is hugely rewarding. It is also challenging, hard work and may involve working and living in remote locations with basic living conditions. You will be based overseas for long periods of time, and as an international employee you must be flexible and be willing to be posted to any of HALO’s programmes. You will work and live alongside other international staff supporting the programme, so will need to be tolerant, with good interpersonal skills.

Start date for these positions is January 2019
If selected for interview you will need to be available to attend a two day assessment process (early October) and be able to deploy for training in January.
