Use your extensive generalist HR experience at ActionAid International and be part of a team of resourceful and collaborative individuals who are passionate about making a real difference to the rights of women and young girls in the poorest parts of the world.
As the HR Advisor you will help deliver a proactive and flexible HR service by providing customer focused HR support to ActionAid International staff in London and our Brussels Office.
This is a busy and exciting position for an organised individual with HR knowledge looking to widen their experience in HR. You will be a first point of contact for many general HR queries and provide initial advice to managers and staff as well as coach them in areas such as best people management practices. You will collaborate with Managers to develop staffing structures, job roles and contractual arrangements. In addition, you will manage payroll and provide regular reporting as well as co-ordinate recruitment, making sure good practice is carried out in all recruitment and selection work. You will carry out inductions and on boarding activities also. Important will be the ability to ensure people are aware of our HR policies and procedures and comply with them.
A graduate, you must be CIPD qualified and possess substantial generalist HR experience. You will be used to informing and coaching managers and providing a broad range of high-quality HR policy advice. You will have good knowledge of payroll and HR processes, policies, and best practices too. Comfortable managing recruitment and selection processes, you will have a strong understanding of employment law and HR trends as well as the ability to build credibility and trust with stakeholders. Highly analytical and good at planning, you must also have strong relationship building, communication and organisational skills.
