<p><a name='more'></a><br /><b>Job description</b><br />■The account receivable collector will be responsible for managing and ensuring that debtors reimburse their past due bills and growing the collections for the all receivables. He is to work collaboratively with the various operational departments especially the commercial team.<br />■He will report to the Credit Control Manager.<br />The position is based in Lagos</p>
<p><b>Responsibilities</b><br />■Follow up , collection and allocation of payment<br />■Carry out billing, collection and report activities according to specific deadlines<br />■Monitor customer account details for nonpayment , delay payment &nbsp;and other irregularities<br />■Maintain account receivable customer file<br />■Investigate and resolve customers queries<br />■Organize a recovery system and initiate collection efforts.<br />■Communicate with customers via phone, email, mail or personally.</p>
<p><b>Qualifications et experience</b><br />■Minimum of OND or University degree in Business related Field from a recognized University or Polytechnic<br />■Advance Excel user<br />■Good knowledge of MS Office<br />■Knowledge of an ERP (SAP or other) is a plus<br />■Team Work Spirit<br />■Good communication skills<br />■Professional and ethical</p>

<p>The Finance Assistant will be responsible for financial and accounting related functions for the IFC <br /><a name='more'></a>Johannesburg office. He/ She will be reporting the Regional Financial Controller (RFC) of the Sub-Saharan Africa Department.<br /><strong>Duties and Accountabilities:</strong></p>
<p># MAIN TASKS SAP/Imprest Administration Processing and payment of the following in SAP: &#8211; local staff salaries and benefits &#8211; consulting contracts, fee invoices &#8211; purchase orders &#8211; travel advances and other travel related expenses &#8211; all other payables and miscellaneous payments</p>
<p># Monthly reconciliation of bank accounts</p>
<p># Ensures that imprest fund and petty cash are adequately funded at all times through regular monitoring and replenishment</p>
<p># Timely recording of office (shared) expenses</p>
<p># Where applicable, monitor and process refund for VAT and other reimbursable taxes</p>
<p># Monthly review of expenses for accuracy, and ensures timely corrections/adjustments of erroneous transactions Time Recording (TRS) and Leave and Attendance Records (LARS) In coordination with the TRS/LARS Coordinator, ensures that:</p>
<p># all staff record/enter their time in the TRS on timely manner</p>
<p># time entered are complete and accurate</p>
<p># staff overtime have proper approval from the Unit Manager</p>

<p># Acts as the focal person in the office on all WBG policies and procedures relating to SAP, imprest and other financial matters</p>
<p># Acts as contact person for internal and external audits of the office on behalf of the RFC</p>
<p># Ensures that office vehicle usage policies and procedures are adhered to, analyses the trends in maintenance/fuel costs and advices the Unit Manager as appropriate</p>
<p># Reconciles vouchers on visitors usage of the office. Ensures that the office is reimbursed for personal calls, copies, vehicle usage and other personal costs</p>
<p># Performs other duties as required<br /><strong>Selection Criteria:</strong></p>
<p># Degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent) with at least minimum 1 years IAS accounting experience in Western corporate setting. If only a holder of diploma or certificate, at least minimum of 3 years of accounting or financial work and in the process of pursuing an internationally recognized accounting or finance designation (CA, CMA, CPA, MIA, etc)</p>
<p># Knowledge in financial accounting and reporting, and in project costing</p>
<p># Competence in the use of Microsoft Office applications, with previous experience in ERP (preferably, SAP) being a significant advantage</p>
<p># Ability to work in multi-cultural environment</p>
<p># Strong written and oral communications skills, fluency in English is essential</p>
