Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in computer science or related discipline with a minimum of scond class upper division (or equivalent)
- Ability to write programes in a variety of languages (java,C,Vvisual Basic.etc) is an added advantage
- Practical knowledge of linux /uniX, windows, Routers, Firewalls is a plus
- Must not be more than 25 years old after 31 August, 2010

- Possess extensive technical experience and specialization in a given industry line, including oil and gas, financial services, telecommunications, etc.
- Prior experience with other “Big 4″ firms is an added advantage

Job Description

the position of trusted advisor to businesses across the region. Your people skills will be required for the latter, while your analytical mind will be another integral requirement for success. You will need the flexibility to implement our international audit approach while bringing to the fore your understanding of the complexities and unique circumstances of our clients and the business landscape across our diverse region. All this while adhering to the highest standards of independence, professional objectivity and technical excellence.

Duties and responsabilities:

    * Demonstrate ability to plan and manage engagements and people along with ensuring deliverables meet work plan specifications and deadlines.
    * Prepare audit strategy and business plans, set budgets and pricing, schedule audits, select staff and assign workloads and financial reporting.
    * Assum responsibility for small components of   engagements and contribute to a strong client relationship through interactions with client personnel.
    * Provide IFRS advisory services to clients and recommendations for improved controls and enhanced business efficiency.
    * Develop and motivate all audit staff and provide them with counseling and career guidance.
    * Recognize and communicate opportunities to sell “add-on” work to client and contribute to a positive team attitude.

Requirements:

    * 10+ years experience in public accounting, auditing, audit management, budget, business plan, business strategy, preferably with the Big four audit firms.
    * Extensive knowledge of best practice reporting and International Financial Reporting Standards.
    * Experience in the financial services is a strong plus.
    * Experience in working with middle market and listed company.
    * International accounting qualification is required: CA, ACCA, or CPA.
    * Fluent in English (reading, speaking and writing). Preference will be given to bilingual candidates (Arabic/English).
