GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION:
Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering or related discipline.
Relevant post graduate degree will be an added advantage.

EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 10 years experience in the Telecom industry with at least 5 years of work experience as technical expert supporting a 3G network.
Excellent understanding of 3G network architecture, performance and quality enhancing features.
Solid working experience in 3G network operations at all levels.
In-depth knowledge and application of relevant IP and 3GPP technical specifications.

Highly analytical with troubleshooting skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
End-to-end 3G network performance and management.
Leading a team of 3G support engineers and coordination with 2G/3G core network and 2G/3G VAS teams.
Defining installation, integration and acceptance testing requirements.
Defining preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.
Validation and introduction of new features into the 3G network.
Interface with equipment and services suppliers.
