<p>* Monitor and lead follow-up of contractor&#8217;s activities in mechanical/piping discipline at Obite site and ensure compliance with project specifications and best engineering practice<br />* Report to Construction Superintendent on progress of his work and on site modification/deviations<br />* Responsible for the timely issuance of various planning documents &amp; reports as required<br />* Supervise the overall activities linked to the discipline (process piping, mechanical equipment installation &#8211; static/rotating and sensitive equipment).<br />* Review and analyse planning updates including critical path for discipline related activities. Review progress for discipline related activities and coordinate with project planning engineer<br />* Be proactive at anticipation of problems in his discipline, articulate necessary actions and to inform his hierarchy.<br />* Liaise with other discipline to ensure consistency of the work. <p><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: red;">Main Duties&nbsp;</span></p>
<p>* Acting as Specialist within UFR team and providing answers for all matters related to hydrodynamic analyses<br />* Managing the UFR contractor with respect to all structural design activities by reviewing and monitoring all relevant engineering documents throughout all project phases. Review the design of riser&#8217;s appurtenances (top/bottom assemblies, buoyancy tanks, flexjoints, bulkheads, etc), umbilical ancillaries (subsea arch), export buoy (hull, mooring structures), oil offloading lines appurtenances (end connections), flowlines integrated structures (FLET, ITAs), suction anchor piles, covering transportation, fabrication, installation and operation phases.<br />* Managing the UFR contractor with respect to the qualification of critical items (buoyancy tanks, welds qualification, etc).<br />* Assisting in the review of hydrodynamic analyses (global, interference, fatigue analyses, etc) of the risers / dynamic umbilicals / export buoy / oil offloading lines covering transportation, installation and operation phases.<br />* Assisting in UFR system structural equipment fabrication<br />* Assisting in UFR system installation and hook-up<br />* Assisting in interface management with FPSO &amp; SPS contractors<br />* Assisting in analysis of UFR Contractor technical queries and preparation of comments and proposed answers to these queries<br />* Ensuring that engineering is performed in line with the clients general specifications and issue proper derogations, if required.<br />* Getting assistance from clients Specialists, or third parties, if required, for specific topics<br />* Getting feedback from other deepwater projects on risers systems<br />* Participating in various technical reviews (Hazids, Hazops, Project Technical Reviews)</p>
<p><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: red;">Essential&nbsp;</span></p>
<p>* Educated to degree level or higher in structure and / or hydrodynamics and / or ocean / civil engineering and / or construction of steel structures<br />* Minimum 10 years experience in oil and gas, associated with structural analyses and riser design, including the use of FE software such as ABAQUS or equivalent<br />* Communication &#8211; ability to function as part of a dispersed Project Team to maintain clear understanding to design issues, progress and objectives<br />* Strong interpersonal skills and able to work with a multi-disciplined/multi-cultural team<br />* Good knowledge of international design codes / standards and general specifications<br />* Fluent in English language</p>

<p><span style="color: red;">Main Duties </span></p>
<p>* Develop Project scheduling, planning and progress measurement procedures. This includes the project reporting procedure. <br />* Establish a Project work breakdown structure (WBS) for each sub-budget item in line with Project Progress and Cost control guidelines and Project execution. <br />* Develop and maintain overall Baseline Project work plan and S-curves at adequate levels using sound techniques and proven tools. Integration of different Project segments from the given scope of work to develop a logical comprehensive work plan <br />* Evaluate, review and approve contractual submissions of Contractors&#8217; procedures, schedules and S-curves as baseline planning documents. Identification of baseline critical paths <br />* Continuous review of Contractors&#8217; monthly progress schedules and reports to ascertain true progress and provide early-warning to Project Management of trends. <br />* Anticipate any potential slippage and critical path deviations, propose and discuss mitigation and corrective actions with involved project parties highlighting critical programme areas and simulating strategies <br />* Liaise with Cost Control Engineer to ensure consistency for installed quantities and spent engineering and construction man-hours figures <br />* Prepare Project progress reports according to the project reporting procedure. <br />* Direct contact with all entities in the project and acting as primary planning interface between Project team and planning departments of the partner, Project subcontracting teams, Contractors and Main Equipment Suppliers. </p>
<p><span style="color: red;">Required Competencies </span></p>
<p>* Previous experience with large EPC type contracts and in upgrade/revamping Works <br />* Minimum of 6 years recent experience as Planning Engineer in a large Oil &amp; Gas design/construction organisation, with prior a minimum of 10 years experience as a scheduler or planner in the Energy, Power and Chemicals industry, with EPC contractors or at Client organisations <br />* Proficient in the use of computerised planning tools like Primavera scheduling tool, knowing the basics of the functionality of the program as well as advanced usage. <br />* Excellent Communication (English language written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. <p>* To investigate, collect and define the training needs with the different Field Operations disciplines. <br />* To produce training matrices by type of position covering General Training, HSE, specialized training, vendors and suppliers training, certification and any other additional training deemed necessary. <br />* To fit all personnel with an Individual Training Plan, in liaison with Company HR, and to ensure its follow-up. <br />* To prepare the training contracts tenders and to recommend the selection of training contractors. <br />* To review, approve and follow-up the contractors&#8217; training programs, the content of the training modules, the schedule and organization of the training sessions <br />* To ensure the integration of the Operators Training Simulator, the Operating Manuals, and any other necessary tool in the training program. <br />* To ensure coordination between the technical correspondents to gather the basic data required for the elaboration of the training modules. <br />* To organize and coordinate the vendors/suppliers trainings. <br />* To organize, supervise and validate the delivery of the training actions according to the project phases and availabilities of the personnel. <br />* To develop a continuous assessment of the trainees and of the performance of the training programs. <br />* To supervise the Offshore Training Coordinator assistant who is in charge of assessing the personnel, identifying shortcomings and delivering training on board of project Facilities. </p>
