Applications are hereby invite from suitably qualified candidates to fill the vacant position of Bursar in the Federal Polytechnic Offa.

Bursar

Function/Duties:

The Bursar who is a Principal Officer of the Polytechnic is responsible to the Rector for the day-to-day financial administration of the Polytechnic.

Qualification and Experience

Candidate for the post of Bursar is required to hold a good honours degree in Accountancy or Finance from a recognized institution of higher learning or equivalent professional Accountancy qualifications with at least 18 years post qualification cognate experience in tertiary institution accounting plus registration with ICAN or any other recognized professional body

Candidates who presently occupy positions lower than Chief Accountant or equivalent positions need not apply.

Furthermore, candidate applying from outside the public service must not be more than 50 years in age while candidate currently in the Public Service must not be more than 55 years in age as at the time of assumption of duty. He/She must be computer literate.

Salary and Other Benefits

The position of Bursar is a tenure appointment. The salary is consolidated and the appointee shall enjoy other benefits of office as may be approved from time to time by the Federal Government.
