Job description

The Geologist will be responsible for the supervising geotechnical and geo-environmental analysis, design, and construction engineering services
Responsibilities

* Observation and investigation of the geology in engineering projects
* Engineering geological model development
* Establishing standards and scope for the engineering geological activities
* Engineering geological information management
* Communicating the geology to engineers
* Provide project management for geotechnical and geo-environmental projects including the preparation of scope, schedules and budgets.
* Contribute to business development and proposal efforts and prepare technical reports.

Qualifications et experience

* A B.Sc degree or (HND compulsorily with a Masters degree) in Geology.
* Minimum of 5 years work experience in Geological Engineering.
* Good Knowledge on the use of GIS (Geographic Information Systems).
* Ability to work without supervision
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
* Must possess demonstrable and measurable success in a similar role
* Must possess all other skills required in this profession
