Company Profile : Our client in the banking sector seeks to fill the Position for Branch Manager.
Job Description : Job Objective: The Branch Manager is responsible for the administration and efficient daily operations of the branch, including; operations, product sales, customer service, appraisal of loan applications and security & safety in accordance with the Banks objectives. The duty station will be in Hoima and Fort Portal respectively. Duties and Responsibilities • Responsible for keeping the business and deposit base growing • Ensure that the bank gets more and more customers and attends outside sales meetings. • Create a friendly environment in the branch that keeps both customers and employees happy • Oversee the sales and operations on a daily basis • Business development • Participates in community affairs to increase the Banks visibility and to enhance new and existing business opportunities. • Setting targets for branch staff and making sure that they are met, motivating and developing staff. • Create and analyze management information and reports, which are then given to head office. • Preliminary appraisal and recommendation of loans application

Skill Set : • A bachelor’s degree in any discipline. • 5 years experience in the Banking/ Financial services sector, atleast 2 years of which must be in a managerial position. • Good computer skills Skills • Good leadership skills • Decision Making • A multi-tasker and must be capable of coordinating between different departments • Goal-oriented and should ensure that the bank registers profits • He must follow the latest rules and regulations in the functioning of the bank • Good interpersonal and networking skills and amicably solve customer complaints • Discretion and maintain client confidentiality • Good communication skills • Supervisory skills
