Job Description

The Senior Legal Manager is responsible for providing expert legal advice to support business stakeholders and ensuring legal compliance in respect of business decisions, processes and documentation.

The person in this role is also responsible to communicate to, staff on any legal developments that may impact their areas. He/she is also responsible to manage any outsourced Legal partners to ensure KPIs are met and that a professional service is provided to the business that meets or exceeds expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Play a key role in managing the legal affairs of ATC Ghana
  • Provide sound legal advice to senior management team on all matters of the corporation
  • Ensure legal practice and regulatory compliance of the company’s business within Ghana


The successful candidate must have:

  • Good understanding of the Ghanaian economy and an appreciation of the culture and environment associated with commercial legal matters in the telecommunication industry
  • Demonstrated track record of performance and decision making are a key
  • Evidence of the ability to interact, relate to, work with and support the activities of a dynamic corporation’s highly qualified staff and reports to international parent company
  • We are looking for a candidate who holds a good Bachelor of Law Degree or equivalent from a recognized university
  • The candidate must have at minimum of 5 years experience serving as a corporate, real estate and transactional attorney, prior experience working in UK or US based law firms, or legal education in the USA or UK will be an added advantage
