Our client is a leading Oil & Gas services company.
Job description
Reporting to the West Africa Finance Manager, you will act as a business partner to local operational management to ensure business decisions are financially viable in addition to producing financial reports for group and statutory purposes.Key accountabilities include:
-Reviewing monthly financial statements, ensuring balance sheet accounts are properly analyzed,
-Ensuring both internal and external audit compliance,
- Assisting in the setup of new operations to support contract requirements,
-Establishing relationships with clients to ensure timely billing and collections issue resolution,
-Managing all required local regulatory filings in order to meet all local tax requirements,
-Overseeing local payroll process,
- Leading and mentoring a team of qualified and semi-qualified local staff in all aspects of Financial Management,
Who we are looking for
We seek ideally a qualified accountant with a minimum of 10 years of Management experience in finance, accounting department of large corporation, preferably in the Oil&Gas sector (upstream or services company).
You must have strong financial skills, strong commercial acumen, and broad business perspective.
You are fluent in English.
Hyperion and SAP experience is advantageous.
A previous experience in the region is highly desirable.
