BAT Recruits Group Talent Acquisition Marketing Manager (London)

This is a fantastic opportunity for a proven Group Talent Acquisition Marketing Manager, to join our Global Talent Team based at our global headquarters in London.

We are looking to deliver effective and efficient global talent acquisition processes and practices to ensure that the intake of employees will support the Company’s business needs and high quality standards across BAT’s 180 markets.

The new organisation design focuses on greater execution and embedment: as such this role must work closely with Regional HR Managers, Global Talent & OE Managers, HR Directors and General Managers to drive implementation and market leading practices through to end market levels.
Accountabilities:
– Establish and maintain employer value proposition and attraction toolkits to ensure BAT’s employer brand is relevant to the external labour market and attracts high performing and high potential employees.
– Understand specific regional issues / requirements and ensures these are reflected in talent acquisition practices.
– Produce reports / dashboards and monitor the execution of talent acquisition from group to end market level. Produce regular analysis and insights and recommend actions for improvements.
– Develop attraction, selection and on-boarding toolkits and train / educate all involved parties (e.g. executive search firms / recruitment agencies, hiring managers, talent managers) to ensure a consistent candidate experience, improvements in recruitment lead times and quality of new hires.
– Designs, develops and embeds Talent Acquisition methods in order to continually improve BAT’s recruitment practice. e.g. attraction, selection and on-boarding toolkits, usage of social media, internal referral programmes and talent scouting.

(The successful candidate’s role title on their contract will be Group Talent Acquisition Manager)
Essential requirements – Significant experience of the development and maintainence of a large corporate’s talent brand
– Digital marketing / employer brand / recruitment marketing experience at another global corporate
– Significant experience of implementing best in class Talent Acquisition processes and tools in a variety of global geographies
– Strong learning and analytical skills
– The ability and confidence to navigate through complexity and ambiguity
– Credibility within the community to engage, influence and obtain buy-in to proposals, at all levels of the business hierarchy, often remotely
– Experience of operating successfully in a complex geographical / functional matrix organization.
– Track record of delivering projects and change
– Experience of leading virtual teams
– Familiarity with eRecruitment systems (recruitment portals)
