Girl Hub Job Vacancy for Internship – Global Partnerships(UK)(London) September 2014

The Global Partnerships Team is looking for a motivated and organised intern who is comfortable working as part of a team and carrying out independent projects as well, with the support and guidance of the Project Coordinator. The intern will support the team in the run up to key UN advocacy moments, including the International Day of the Girl on October 11th. The intern will also support in any follow-up to these activities.

The internship would provide the individual with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment, working as part of a cross-functional team. This is a paid, full-time position for 3 months.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide general administrative, event and research support to the Global Partnerships Team:

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide general administrative, event and research support to the Global Partnerships Team:

Provide support to the Global Partnerships team in the research and analysis of upcoming events, resources and advocacy opportunities
Provide assistance in the organisation and implementation of advocacy and partnerships meetings and events
Carry out other ad-hoc administrative and desk-research tasks as needed
Liaise with other teams as needed
Liaise with staff and stakeholders partners often across different time-zones in a professional manner

Desirable

Qualification in international development/human rights/gender.
