Job Description
Ascellon requires Web Developer/NET Programmer with SQL application development experience.
He/she will develop ASP.Net Web Applications and services using Microsoft Visual Studio.Net and will participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including gathering and analyzing requirements, designing mock-ups and developing rapid prototypes, developing and testing code, writing test cases and application deployment and testing.
Responsibilities
Systems programming using Visual Studio, C#, ASP.Net, Classic ASP, MVC JavaScript, jQuery, C++, Visual studio2012 and MS SQL Server.
Develop code per detailed specifications using specified programming languages, tools, and techniques under the direction of the project manager or team leader.
Deliver unit-tested systems timely that meet specification functionality requirements.
Work with team to define detailed specifications for specific functionality requirements.
Provide analysis for technical solutions based on functional requirements.
Provide consultative services on technical issues to clients and internal project teams.
Participate in development of system test plans.

Mandatory Skills/Experience
- Note: candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered.
- Strong Experience in developing applications using WCF, Web API and MVC/ASP.Net Web Forms
- Strong background in .NET Technologies. (C# 5.0 or greater, ASP.NET 4.5, MVC 4 or greater, Entity Framework 5.0 or greater)
- Strong knowledge and experience working with Microsoft technologies such as Visual Studio 2010/2012, SQL Server Management Studio, Team Foundation Server
- Strong knowledge and experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, jQuery, etc.)
- Strong SQL programming skills; crystal report (2008 or better) writing experience
- Knowledge and experience with MS SQL Server relational database technologies
Desirable Skills/Experience
- Familiarity with emerging web technologies and/or recommended standards and practices. (i.e. HTML5, CSS3, Responsive Web with Bootstrap 3, AJAX using jQuery, structured JavaScript design patterns, etc.).
- Crystal Report or SQL Server Reporting Services.
- Proficiency in modern UX design (GUI, usability).
- Preference will be given to candidates who possess MCSD or MCP certifications.
