Operations & Facilities Manager At Lincoln Community School

Lincoln Community School is one of the leading American International Schools in Africa and currently serves a population of 760 students from over 66 different nationalities.  
The School is seeking to appoint a qualified and experienced Operations and Facilities Manager to manage the strategic and operational responsibility of all school facilities and operational services.

Required Skills or Experience

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and experience:
Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent in a related field (program operations, building /facilities management)
  • Facilities Management Qualification preferred ( IFMA/BIFM accredited institution)
  • Certified Health and Safety qualification/training preferred

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years post qualification experience in operations, facilities and or building management role 
  • Minimum of 5 years proven experience of managing staff in an organizational setting
  • Proven experience of handling customer complaints
  • Proven experience of successfully developing and creating operations and facilities management systems and procedures
  • Proven experience of successfully developing and managing budgets and implementing efficiency management systems
  • Proven experience in bidding and managing contracts
  • Demonstrated experience of project management preferably in  building and construction
  • General knowledge of general repair and maintenance work in the area of plumbing, electrical and construction works.
