It’s hard to believe that today 748 million people still don’t have clean, safe water and 2.5 billion live without a toilet. The resulting diseases kill one child every minute.

WaterAid is looking for a Manager Policy & Advocacy to play a vital role in our mission to transform lives with safe water, sanitation and hygiene in the world’s poorest communities.

Working within the CP team, the Manager Policy & Advocacy will be responsible for:

  • Continuing its high quality policy influencing work which pivots around nurturing sustained engagement with public, private and academia at the national and provincial level with greater emphasis on influencing water, sanitation & hygiene (WASH) agenda at the level of federal as well as provinces.
  • S/he is required to lead WAP’s advocacy team, and support the work of WASH Sector and local partners in Pakistan to promote as well as implement WAP’s policy and advocacy agenda.
  • The overarching strategic objective of the work of the Manager is to maximise policy endeavours and create tangible impact in promoting right to water, sanitation and hygiene for all the citizens’ with focus on the poor, women and the excluded.

To be successful, you’ll need to be sector specialist and should have relevant management experience of at least minimum 10-15 years including at least 5 years of experience in senior management position.
