JOB PURPOSE
Job Purpose To deliver aircraft maintenance service to directly support operations and to provide specialised knowledge or information which is required to ensure effective operation. Ensure tasks are efficiently performed to meet company standards and targets such as dispatch reliability and level of acceptable deferred defects. Ensure Aircraft or component serviceability standards are maintained to meet scheduled requirements.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities·         He / She will be responsible for carrying out the following duties:
• Maintain the aircraft in accordance with an approved Maintenance Schedule.
• Ensure due maintenance is performed on all aircraft in a timely manner in order to meet the Flight Schedule.
• Maintain Continued Airworthiness across the fleet.
• Ensure proper troubleshooting is carried out to justify all parts replacements.
• Be proactive in working closely with the other employees to ensure smooth and safe operation of the Airline.
• Ensure all mandatory occurrence, accident, incident and delay reports are filed as required.
• Ensure a high level of safety standards are maintained within the immediate working area and within the organization.
• Ensure proper tooling, calibrated equipment and work stands are used at all times without any mishandling.
• Return all removed and unused parts, tools and equipment to stores with proper labelling and report any malfunctioning equipment.
• Ensure all maintenance work are carried out under the supervision of a certified license engineer and recorded in accordance with the regulations.
 EDUCATION & QUALIFICATION
Competencies (Knowledge/skills/abilities)·         Must be able to read and interpret the following:  Maintenance Manuals, Illustrated Parts Catalogue, Structural Repair and Wiring, Diagram System Schematics, and use ATA Codes.·         Must provide own tools and be knowledgeable with computers.

·         Must be able to document maintenance performed on required forms.

WORK EXPERIENCE
Qualifications & Experience ·         Airframe & Powerplant experience preferred

·         Must be able to read and write in English language

·         A valid clear driver’s license.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

·         2 years experience in all phases of commercial transport aircraft

·         Ability to work independently and in a team environment

·         Must have knowledge in design techniques, principles, tools and instruments involved in the production and use of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.

·         Must have knowledge of materials, methods, and the appropriate tools to construct objects and structures.

·         Basic understanding of EASA / FAA regulations.

·         Able to work under pressure

·         High sense of responsibility

·         Motivation to perform a broad variety of tasks
