Women for Women International was founded in 1993 to help women survivors of war rebuild their lives, their families and communities. The UK office was established in 2006 and has grown a strong and effective supporter base.

We are Based in central London, Women for Women International UK is a small but highly dedicated team working together with Women for Women International Headquarters in Washington DC and offices in the eight countries where we work. Our mission is to serve the most marginalised women in countries affected by conflict to help them attain a sustainable level of human dignity.

Grants Officer

Deadline: 12pm, Wednesday 28 October

We are recruiting for a Grants Officer, who will work closely with the rest of the Grants team in the UK, and colleagues in the US and our country offices in supporting the management of our existing grants portfolio, while also supporting the production of compelling new proposals. You will play a crucial role in supporting the team, as well as driving your own projects, to deliver our ambitious 7-figure target in 2016 and 3 year business plan.

This opportunity will suit someone who wants to gain experience in a diverse grants environment, who is highly organised, has a strong passion for writing and research, a good head for numbers and understands the importance of building strong productive relationships with a diverse group of funders, colleagues and stakeholders.

Special Events Manager

We are recruiting for a Special Events Manager who will be responsible for developing, implementing, and reviewing an events strategy to deliver a 7-figure income target.

This opportunity will suit someone looking to make their mark, who is ambitious and extremely target focused with strong major donor skills to complement their significant experience managing events. The ideal candidate will be someone from within the not-for-profit sector or from an arts or fashion background, with a track record of success of working with senior stakeholders and high-level volunteers in committee structures.
