We offer
As the Head of Air Product, you will drive product growth and profitability in the area by translating regional strategy and initiatives into area performance plans and ensure this is being executed. You will be a member of the area leadership team, reporting directly to the Area CEO and functionally to the Regional Product Head (based in Dubai).
This role will be based in Dubai, UAE and oversee the product activities in the countries comprising of UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Egypt & Jordan.
Key responsibilities
Product Management:
– Identify market trends, opportunities and customer needs, supported by input from product and commercial colleagues in areas and region. Initiate appropriate actions to materialize these opportunities – including new product development
– Own the execution of global initiatives and strategy within the area
– Support the regional and area organizations with Air Product expertise and ensure collaboration between product, operations and commercial.
– Actively engage in tender selection and support the regional tender team with input to their quotations
– Support the organization in delivering outstanding customer service by the right product offering and carrier service consistency
Carrier Management/Procurement:
– Execute on area Air procurement and support countries with their procurement activities. Drive cost reductions by optimal allocation with carriers and contracts.
– Support the Regional Head of Air in maintaining carrier relations. Act as first line of escalation in case of service failures and rate disputes
Performance Management:
– Drive area performance calls
– Own volume growth and margin optimization initiatives
– Optimize trade lane performance in close collaboration with other functions and overseas colleagues.

• Graduated logistics professional with strong academic background
• 8- 10 years of industry experience and expertise within the Air Product
• Ability to work in a matrix organization
• Commercial acumen with passion for finding new & innovative opportunities
• Good interpersonal, communication and excellent negotiating skills
• Ability to engage and link multiple parties across functions and geographies
• Ability to understand and interpret performance data
• Strong customer focus
• Personality: passionate, result oriented, self-starter, well-structured, professional
