Location: Headquarters

The ICRC offers remunerated internships for periods of 6 to 12 months at its headquarters in Geneva. There are no internship positions in our delegations abroad and we do not offer summer internships. The ICRC does not recruit volunteers. Candidates wishing to work as volunteers should contact their National Red Cross/Red Crescent Society.

Qualifications required:

* Advanced university degree or diploma equivalent to a master’s degree in a relevant field (law, international relations, history, education, communication, etc.).
* Excellent command of both French and English (fluency in one and a very good working knowledge of the other).
* Age between 25 and 35.
* Strong interest in humanitarian activities and the ICRC.
* Ability to think strategically, express ideas clearly both orally and in writing, and work both independently and as part of a team.
* Prior experience with an international organization, an NGO or a Red Cross or Red Crescent Society would be an asset.
* Additional languages such as Russian, Arabic and Spanish are an asset.

Industrial Attachment Vacancy (/Internship) at a IT/Web Dev Firm in Obalende

To assist in software / web development, IT service management, client relationship, proposal presentation , project documentations, administrative tasks and so on.

A passion for Computers and Technology is a must have .
Computer-related course of study is an advantage.
Previous Web Experience is an advantage.

Travel to Africa

Every year, three interns travel with Kimmie Weeks as he works in Africa. Interested individuals must currently be enrolled in an American college or University. Africa interns must have also been engaged with a YAY chapter in the US for at least one year prior to date of travel.

All costs associated with the trip are the responsibility of the intern.
