Description

This directorate will work on strengthening the necessary systems (using the WHO health systems building
blocks) to ensure sustainable and efficient delivery of effective health services at the different levels of care; Will work under the supervision of the Country Director to provide technical and managerial oversight in the planning, implementation and monitoring of FHI Nigeria s health policy and systems initiatives; Will coordinate FHI s provision of technical assistance to the Ministry of Health, other government agencies and stakeholders at all levels to develop/review, implement and monitor health systems policies and strategies. Also will complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the FHI country director.

Minimum Requirements:
Master’s degree in Economics, Health Economics, Public Policy, Health Policy, Public Health or a related field . At least 10 years experience in applied health policy analysis and development at national and international levels as well as in capacity building and policy advisory work. At least 10 years international experience in health systems strengthening, particularly capacity building of MOH and other local partners.
