POSITION DESCRIPTION
PURPOSE OF JOB:
Provide client and market insights and assists with implementation of the sales process including research, business reports, sales pitches etc.
Ensures compliance requirements are actioned
Manages Client information on bank’s database
Relationship building with internal clients (product, credit, finance) to effectively manage business performance.
Customer care and service
Follow-up with client service teams to ensure that service level agreements are adhered to.
Dealing with issues/queries to ensure client service is of the highest standard.
Act as a point of contact for enquiries often in the absence of the Relationship Manager
Supports RMs in the credit process
Preparation of Business Assessment Committee papers
Credit application (getting the relevant client information to forward to credit)
Monitor and manage the workflow between credit and relevant coverage sector
Assist with the management of the Departments position and other performance management targets including revenue and costs.
Keep and maintain adequate records of all business performance management data.
Constantly developing an intimate understanding of the sectors macroeconomic drivers, the key players, the clients, competitors, and recommending strategy.
Track and monitor client product utilisations and revenue reporting.
Work with stakeholders to “project manage” agreed actions arising from management meetings.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Provides timely and relevant client performance data and market intelligence for effective management decision making
Quality control and management of all Business reporting and MIS for the relevant sector
Financial Control – Performance Monitoring and Variance analysis
Managing Credit workflows for the relevant sector.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Business related degree
Masters Degree/Professional Qualifications will be added advantages.

WORK EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 5 years banking experience.

Project Management competence
Excellent use of Computer operating systems e.g. Powerpoint, Word, Excel and the Internet
Good understanding of Client expectations and core banking operations
Ability to gain and maintain an in-depth knowledge of:
