Position HEAD OF PROCESS, LABORATORY & TREATMENT
Job Description SERVICE DIMENSIONS
• Manage Process and Laboratory/Treatment Sections in JV onshore asset division (5 method staff)
• Lead and Produce Preliminary/Conceptual studies and Coordinate studies/modification within the asset
• Manage the Asset Production Engineering activities
• Provide Technical support/assistance to Onshore project teams (e.g. OML58 Upgrade team)

ACTIVITIES
• Supervise Preliminary/Conceptual/Pre project studies relating to modification of existing installations:
o Define and Implement SMR within the shortest time possible
o Participate to site visit.
o Provide new PFD, marked-up PID and updated ESD to both Technical services division (C&P) and Onshore Project Departments.
o Approve technical bids for Process/Safety/Treatment/Laboratory aspects within Onshore Asset team.
o Responsible for Process/Treatment study progress and reporting.
• Identify all process bottlenecks with the views to ensure process optimisation and production stability/or gain.
• Provide support and Liaise with Development Planning for medium and long-term projects.
• Provide support to existing field operations and the interface with new project as well as Treatment activities.
• Liaise with Contractor for Process/Treatment/Laboratory issues when required.
• Act as the 1ST level coordinator for managing and distribution of all SMR within the asset team.
• Liaise with Corporate HSE for existing facilities safety concerns.
• Liaise with Headquarters for interaction of new Projects with existing facilities (Metier EP/TDO/EXP production engineering and EP/SCR/ED/ECP process department).
• Prepare, review and update of procedures and guidelines for optimisation of production operations (process, laboratory and chemical activities) and verify their proper implementation on site.
• Coordinate the inventories of non-conformities on site installations and guarantee compliance with Company rules and specifications by participating to consolidate all derogation requests. Propose and maintain tracking corrective actions.
• Coordinate and Participate to all safety reviews, HAZOP, HAZID and PTR within the asset and as independent party to other assets.
• Participate to operational meeting involving SPDC, NLNG and government regulatory bodies DPR etc.
• Evaluate, train and lead young engineers within the production engineering asset.
• Responsible for budgets management of his entity.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external HSE regulations and specifications

CONTEXT & ENVIRONMENT
• Numerous contacts with Safety/Process discipline Experts in Technical Services, France, Project Managers, Operation Managers, site people, HSE.
• Coaching of newly recruited Staff.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Ensure effective and sound process studies with efficient reporting to Methods Manager.
• Ensure effective and timely response to technical queries in compliance with set standards, company specifications and safety procedures.
• Verify accurate records and filing of Project files in a retrievable / exploitable manner.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCE
Professional experience> 10 years
Process experience> 5 years
