Job Description:
Direct the planning and design of Charging System and intelligent platforms for optimal network capacity and availability
Define and direct the requirement for capacity planning and management of services on the Prepaid & Intelligent Network platform including SDP and all ETSI – INAP based services (CS 5.0 charging elements to include SDPs AIR severs, CCN, VS, and MINSAT etc.)
Direct and justify the timely provisioning of Network capacity for all the IN/Charging System node elements, features, protocols
Direct the network architecture that best serves the growth of the Charging system network in terms of traffic, subscribers and value added service capacity
Ensure effective technical feasibility studies for new features and services within the Charging System and IN environment
Provide for the service capacity required by the business
Develop network architecture and topology planning strategies
Perform technical investigations into topics related to Charging System network design and performance, such as new types of hardware, new design methodologies, impact of new technologies
Identify new software requirements and participate in the specification of all custom software tools
Evaluate the functionality and relevance of new NSS/IN/OSS software and ensure that MTNN takes full advantage of all advanced features made available in new software release
Interface with Marketing and Business development groups for new services and capacity planning
Define, approve and maintain processes for Tele-Traffic analysis, network modelling, etc and advise the business on growth & technology evolution path
Maintain key vendor relationships
Job Conditions: General MTNN working conditions Some weekends and after hours work International and In-country travel
Reporting To: Senior Manager, VAS & Charging Systems Planning
Required Skills:

First degree in Electrical/Electronics/Communications Engineering or related discipline
Minimum of 8 years experience which includes:
2 years experience in a supervisory/managerial capacity
Minimum of 5 years experience on IN/Charging Systems planning
3 years experience in dealing with vendors/suppliers on technical and commercial issue (Vendor/Supplier management)
Experience in multi-vendor network operations
Experience in forecasting long term network growth and providing input to company business plan
