Field Marketing Manager at Motorola-Nigeria


THE SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES / EXPECTATIONS
The director of field marketing has key responsibilities:
Field Marketing (Channel and direct customers) in Nigeria and French in Francophone Africa (FSA)
Managing the general direction of the market and moving into the area in alignment with MILSSA and global priorities.
Supporting marketing activities drive sales and French language in North Africa in line with the region.
Alignment with country priorities and Sales Managers to implement marketing initiatives to support the overall results of the company
Balance between the demands of marketing to customers and distribution partners in the region to conduct marketing support sales targets
On a quarterly basis, roll-up programs and provide concise reports that describe how marketing initiatives were executed against budgets towards MDF and COOP.
Understanding the strategic positioning and market share by product and vertical Nigeria FSA and based on feedback from the strategy team
Work with IMC team to be able to provide the main results when needed, including translation and localization.
Should be aware of large transactions that take place in Nigeria and FSA and key stakeholders (sales, distribution partners) and end users in order to influence and support the results

It is expected that the director of field marketing to be an active participant in the major meetings of budget planning partners, and sales and operational reviews.

MAIN OBJECTIVES:
Owning, evangelism and conduct cohesion in marketing field (partners and direct customers) through the area
Development and respect for the marketing budget for Nigeria and FSA, as it applies to the client, Co-op and MDF marketing expenses
A full understanding and communication of operational considerations for management, sales, customers and partners, including competition, market, business and economic information
Develop and implement an effective marketing strategy umbrella and activities for Nigeria and FSA to capture growth opportunities in the solution space and products.
The director of field marketing will be responsible for measuring ROI and recommendations for change, if necessary, to stimulate growth in the country or region.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS SPECIFIC:
The successful candidate must have the following attributes

Experience working closely with senior sales management
Result-oriented, self-starter who can lead without direction from day to day
Organizations working transversely and staffing matrix
Marketing and business sense
Customer and Channel-Oriented.

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Degree required, Master / MBA preferred
Deep understanding of channel focused marketing requirements
Good knowledge of safety, public services or marketing of the company, based on industry experience with a focus on business-to-business marketing in the channel
Understanding of oil and gas / Transport and Logistics or customers of Public Safety
Analytical skills sharp
Management skills demonstrable project
Marcom experience, including event management
African experience demonstrated the interaction with distributors and retailers, identifying the needs of channel and align with the business strategy
Agency or vendor management
Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills
Past relevant expertise Marketing Product
More proficiency in French and English (speak, read and write in their mother tongue)
