Description
Purpose of the Role
Ensuring raw and packaging materials samples are within UMA/other specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure all packaging/Rawpecs aing rammage, ce standard & machine runability as cted materials and notify all stakehoders materials used by production conform to specification both at point of receipt & machine run ability/trials in all the factories & warehouses.
2. Ensure sampling of raw & packaging materials and measurement of raw & packaging of printed materials e.g water activity, PH, moisture e.t.c and dimension in fibrite, boxes (length x width x height), Wrapper, Transwrap, Tag (length x width)
3. Ensure Plastic packaging materials meet all specifications such as Cap/ Jar orifice, vertical & horizontal diameter, thickness ,vertical/horizontal length, leakage test, burst strength, foreign contaminants test, proper labeling among others.
Qualificatin/Experience
Minimum of OND in science based course (Science/Lab Technology, Food Tech, Microbiology, Biochemistry/Applied Chemistry e.t.c.
On the job training.
Experience in raw/packaging materials point of receipt sampling & analysis, CRQS Training
Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
