Project Description:

FHI 360 is looking for candidates to fill a part time internship position in the Education Policy and Data Center based in Washington, DC. EPDC is a research and analysis unit in the Global Learning Group of FHI 360. The FHI 360 Global Learning Group provides technical expertise and implements comprehensive education development programs across the globe. Job Summary / Responsibilities:

Specific job tasks may include the following:

Collecting education data from government/administrative, NGO or other online sources;
Updating and maintaining website pages and other online material such as country overview pages and profile series;
Contribute to ongoing research and technical publications on topics related to education in low-income/developing countries;
Assist in heightening EPDC’s visibility via social media and blogs

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required/Master’s degree in Education, International Development or related field is preferred;
Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint);
Candidates should have some experience living and/or working overseas;
Ability to work independently as well as on a team;
Demonstrated communication skills;
Experience with Stata is highly desirable;
Language skills (Spanish, French, Arabic, etc) are a plus.
