About Your Job:

The Regional Direct Sales Manager is in charge of the overall sales and revenue budget for Qatar Airways’ online business for the Americas. In this role, you will liaise closely with Revenue Management, local sales offices and Marketing department to ensure online sales efforts are optimised to support the airline’s overall revenue generation. A key area of this role is to focus online sales towards higher yielding Economy class and Business class passengers.

Specific responsibilities of this role includes:

Creates yearly strategic business plan and online marketing plan for qatarairways.com
Works with the local stations to implement the overall online sales strategy for the Americas
Ensures pricing competitive positioning of QR.com
Enhances sales and marketing relationships with the OTA community.
Works with Corporate Sales organisation to increase online premium traffic
Works with the Americas Marketing Department
Ensures online strategy is aligned with general airline industry and trends

About You:

The candidate for this role must have a strong understanding and first-hand experience in managing key direct sales channels. Minimum of 5 year experience in the airline or related industry is required. Prior experience in driving E-commerce for a retails business preferably from travel and airline industry is important to this role. You need to have work experience in an online marketing agency or E-commerce department of a B2C retailer.

You must be proficient in MS Office analytical and presentation tools. You must have strong relationship building skills. Prior experience in a multinational company coordinating requirements between Head Office and global offices is a definite advantage.
