Logistics Business Analyst At Shell-,Gamba,Gabon

The Rabi, Toucan and Koula fields are located approximately 50 kilometers north of the Gamba field where we produce some 65,000 barrels of oil per day.
Job Description
Position Responsibilities

Coordinate design and monitor logistics website and applications.

Support Business Planning & cost management process across Logistics Services

Focal point for Logistics systems, including providing line support for Global Logistics Management System (GLMS).

Focal point for Logistics Document Management System.

Maintain interface with Customers and coordinate demands from the business.

Responsible for maintenance of Logistics Asset Register.

Support accountabilities for delivery of Logistics Services activities as per Business Plan

Coordinate review of Logistics business plans and ensure alignment with Technical and Production teams.

Co-ordinate non-financial Management Information and input to monthly, quarterly Reporting & functional reviews.

Drive business Improvement & Benchmarking. Track the delivery of Business Improvement and highlight variances.

Contribute to performance management of Logistics operation to ensure excellence in operation.

Develop weekly highlight, monthly report, and quarterly performance reports and drive the Quarterly Performance Review process across Logistics business in Shell Gabon.

Develop and implement transparent cost chargeback mechanism for Logistics services to user departments in Shell Gabon and drive implementation to ensure each department pays for services received


Position Qualification & Experience

A minimum of Bachelor Degree in the Engineering, sciences or related disciplines

Minimum of 5 years experience in Logistics or related business and at least 2 years experience in Planning.

Good planning, strategy and performance management skills and experience

Good IT Skills

Capacity to work under pressure and able to deliver quality results

Good communication skills – Fluent in English and French.
