The client urgently requires Accountant, Tax seasoned professionals with exceptional abilities and grounded professional experience.
Ideal candidates will be responsible managing tax reporting and compliance, tax planning in preparation for future filings within the organization. Ensures tax returns are complete and accurate to minimize tax obligations.
Job Responsibilities:
Ensure a company’s annual earnings, expenditures and investments are reported with accuracy and completeness.
Plan and prepare state and federal returns for companies.
Interpret tax codes.
Advise the company on tax related issues.
Audit Internal controls for accuracy.
Research and develop tax saving strategies.
Manage, develop, and mentor staff/managers on projects and assess performance through formal periodic reviews and informal feedback.
Requirements:
5-8 years experience working in the field of taxation preferably in an accounting firm or any relevant tax authority with relevant Tax Management experience.
Sound knowledge of the Nigerian tax laws and IFRS
B.Sc. in Finance or Accounting.
Master’s degree in Taxation, Finance or Economics preferred
