To achieve highly realistic training, the K-Sim Offshore simulator will feature detailed models of three HMC Deepwater Construction Vessels; Thialf (Semi-Sub), Balder (Semi-Sub) and Aegir, in addition to several barges (including H-851) and a supply vessel. HSC is part of the HMC Academy which is located within the QASHE (Quality Assurance, Safety, Health and Environment) Department. The team is responsible for the full and optimal operation of the simulator center for training and project specific request. As Instructor you will be part of this multidisciplinary team and department.
As an Instructor within the Heerema Simulation Center you are responsible for developing operator training and handling the instructor station. You will be performing training and give support to project or department specific requests. Your position is in the heart of the Simulation Center in close cooperation with operations, visual development team, specialist engineers and information systems.
Requirements
- You have a bachelor or Master degree in Psychology and/or Certificate of Competence as Master Mariner and/or skilled in supervisory levels on construction;
- You have at least 5 years of relevant offshore experience;
- You have gained competence in simulator training and/or relevant experience with working on simulators preferable Kongsberg simulators;
- You have at least 5 years of experience in teaching/writing didactical programs;
- You have good communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
