Job Description

Reports to:  Value Chain Manager

Role
This role is contracted to a private sector contractor and continuation of the role is based on the contractor’s performance. The contractor will be responsible for assisting the program to identify value chains that makes the most impact; refine value chain development concept so that they can be compared in terms of cost to the program impact on the program’s objectives; develop support programs to strengthen chosen value chains; and oversee the execution of support to value chains from technical service providers.

Performance Targets:  Meets or exceed targets for all key tasks assigned by agreed deadlines

Required Skills or Experience

An advanced degree in Agric Economics or its equivalent with 10 to 15 years active experience in value chains.
