RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Graphic Designers will provide reliable, accurate, state-of-the-art multimedia support essential to ensuring that our customer communicates enterprise mission goals and objective effectively. Translate customer requirements into world-class multimedia presentations (e.g. in PowerPoint, Flash formats, web and DDS) for use with a variety of audiences. Design graphics for large-scale communications campaigns. Position includes monitoring consumable inventory and coordinating procurement to ensure materials are available to complete project requirements. Help define USG messaging for the 21st century. Collaborate with excellence by working with the best in the business. This position will be located in Chantilly, VA, some travel will be required. All candidates must have a TS/SCI clearance.

MINIMUM TANGIBLE QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, fine art, interactive design, communications or other related field
• Demonstrate sophisticated design skills and knowledge of current design trends
• Must possess skills and experience necessary to produce original designs and custom layouts for presentations, briefs, publications, web, and other content for interactive multimedia products.
• Experience collaborating with producers, instructional, and web designers to translate client needs into original and engaging, graphics
• Must demonstrate sophisticated aesthetic, technical skill, and knowledge of current media trends
• Must be highly motivated, and able to work well alone and as part of a team
• Ability to prioritize and address multiple, concurrent projects, with varying production timelines
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), and organizational skills

Required Skills:
• Working knowledge of web and print design standards
• Experienced in branding and Visual Identity design (logos, communications campaign materials)
• Experienced in graphic design for electronic media (interactive presentations, web-based training, videos, websites, digital newsletters, electronic publications, Dynamic Digital Signage)
• Experienced in graphic and layout design for print (posters, brochures, publications, signs, displays, exhibits)
• Experienced in a wide variety of printing technologies (publications, high-volume publication, large-format print production, photo printings, 3D printing)
• Experienced in publication bindery/finishing
• Experienced in engraving
• Proficient on MAC/PC platforms.
• Proficient in Adobe Create Suite/Creative Cloud
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a Design-related field
