The H Band ER Consultant role is based within HR Shared Services

The role of the ER Consultant is to deliver a consistent and high quality HR Services experience concerning Employee Relations. To align to global standards in order to ensure a consistent, efficient and effective

Your responsibilities will include:

To be the first point of contact to the business for all ER process and policy queries and/or issues.

To provide an end-to-end case management service concerning all ER processes.

Providing of telephonic support and consultation to both staff and line management throughout the ER process. Liaise with the Employment Law division on complex cases.

To act as HR representative at the formal discussion/enquiry stages of the respective ER processes.

Ensure that the ER case files are updated and advise the WPA team to update SAP.

To facilitate the end-to-end case management of the Income Continuation Benefits (ICB) process. This includes acting as liaison between the Insurer and other stakeholders and to facilitate the payment logistics as applicable.

Build and maintain relationships/clarify expectations with key stakeholders.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

 

  • 3-5 years’  relevant experience in HR related field/ER (essential) –  with Degree/Diploma
  • 3yr Degree/Diploma in HR/ER related field – essential
  • Labour Legislation, BCEA
  • Employee Relation Practices
  • HR policies and procedure

In addition to the details listed above, the ideal candidate will have an in depth knowledge and understanding

  • Microsoft Office software packages
  • SAP (advantage)
  • HR processes (advantage)
  • HR Theories and Models
  • Business Understanding

The base location for this role is Midrand, Corporate Park
