Malaria Consortium is recruiting for a Malaria Supply Chain Officer to join our team in the Kampala Office
The Malaria Supply Chain Officer will provide technical and implementation support to all MAPD project activities with a focus on supply chain management for malaria commodities in the project districts of operation.
The successful candidate will have:
- A degree in a health related field including (pharmacy preferred), Supply Chain, Public Health, Nursing
- At least 3 years work experience in similar field and /or experience working on a USAID funded project
- Experience in monitoring and evaluation of public health programmes
- Experience in capacity building/ transferring of skills
- Experience in working with local government
- Experience in developing work plans and activity budgets
- Understanding of both preventive and curative aspects of malaria control
- Familiarity with the strategies and guidelines of the MoH supply chain management and the Uganda National Malaria Control Programme
- A post graduate degree/diploma in Public Health or health related discipline
- Experience in using participatory adult learning techniques
