1. senior lecturer (uass 5)
a candidate for this post must possess a phd degree but must have been a lecturer 1 for 3 (three) years with at least 6 (six) years of post qualification, full time relevant teaching and research experience. candidate must possess.
a) evidence of considerable number of high quality scholarly publications in learned journals;
b) proven ability to initiate and supervise research project or exhibition;
c) proven ability to provide academic and administration leadership and community service.
d) membership of recognize and relevant professional bodies.
2. lecturer i (uass 4)
candidate for this post must possess a good first degree and a phd degree in the relevant discipline and must have been a lecturer ii for 3 (three) years with at least 3 years relevant teaching and research experience, plus.
a) appreciable research and scholarly publications in recognized learned journals;
b) ability to initiate and supervise research projects or exhibitions;
c) evidence of administrative ability and community service.
3. lecturer ii (uass 3)
candidate must possess a good first degree and a phd in the relevant discipline.
relevant teaching/research experience and scholarly publication will be an advantage
4. assistant lecturer (uass 2)
a good first degree and a master degree in relevant discipline is required.
5. graduate assistant (uass 1)
a first degree with first class or second class upper division from a recognized university
6. librarian i (uass 3)
a good first degree and a masters degree in library studies but must have not less than 3 (three) years post graduation experience after a masters degree.
7. librarian ii (uass 2)
candidate must have a good first degree and a masters degree in library science.
scholarly publication in learned journals will be an advantage.
8. assistant librarian (uass 1)
candidate must have a good first degree from a recognize university. cognate experience will be an advantage.
9. bursar (hatiss 15)
candidate for this post must possess a good honors degree in accounting or related discipline as well as professionally recognized accounting qualification e.g. acma, aca, cpa, acca, ican or any recognize professional qualification equivalent to any of the above. possession of higher degree will be an advantage. the candidate should have at least 15 (fifteen) years post qualification and 10 (ten) years post professional qualification(s) cognate experience. in addition, the candidate must have 10 years relevant experience in senior management position preferably in a university or comparable institution.
10. deputy bursar: (hatiss 14)
same as for the post of bursar but 12 (twelve) years post honors degree and 7(seven) years post professional qualification cognate experience. in addition the candidate must have 7 (seven) years relevant experience in a senior management position preferably in a university or comparable institution.
11. principal accountant (hatiss 13)
membership of a recognized accountancy professional body such as aca, icma, and ican with 9 years post qualification experience.
12. accountant ii
graduate of a recognized accountancy professional body such as aca, icma, ican.
a good first degree in accountancy or banking and finance.
13. deputy registrar (hatiss 14)
candidate for this post must hold a good first degree or equivalent from a recognized institution with at least 12 (twelve) years post qualification cognate experience, six (6) of which must be at senior management level in a university or comparable higher institution. the candidate must demonstrate innovative qualities and drive. in addition candidate must possess evidence of registration with a recognized relevant professional body. possession of a higher degree will be an advantage.
14. administrative officer ii &i
a good honors degree in social sciences from a recognized university but candidates for administrative officer (i) must have 3 years post graduate experience.
15. computer engineer ii (hatiss 7)
candidate must possess a good first degree in computer engineering or in a related field from a recognized university. cognate experience will be an advantage.
16. computer technologist i (hatiss .
candidate must possess a good hnd or ond from a recognized institution in computer technology or in a related field with at least 3(three) years cognate experience.
17. computer technologist ii (hatiss 7)
candidate must possess a good hnd or ond from a recognized institution in computer technology, computer science or a related discipline.
18. chief security officer (hatiss 13)
the candidate for this post must possess hnd or a good honors degree in any field with at least 15 (fifteen) years post graduation relevant experience in security operations in recognizes tertiary institutions or national security establishments. candidate must not be below the rank of a major in the nigerian army, chief superintendent of police or state security service (sss) equivalent i if retired from any of the national security establishments, the candidate must not more than 50 (fifty) years old.
19. principal security officer (hatiss ii)
same as for chief security officer but must have at least 12 years post graduation cognate experience.
20. senior security officer (hatiss 9)
same as for chief security officer but must have at least 9 years post qualification cognate experience.

(3) city and guilds of london institute in catering plus 2 years post qualification cogent experience
32. architect:
(1) b.sc (architecture) from a university recognized by the architect registration council of nigeria.
(2) a pass in final examination of the nigerian institute of architects (nia).
(3) a pass in final examination of the royal institute of british architects (riba)
