for post 1- 4, applicants should have postgraduate professional fellowship of the national postgraduate medical college of nigeria or the fellowship of the west african college of physicians in paediatrics, surgery and ophthalmology respectively.
in addition, applicants for post 1 must have undergone training in paediatric infectious diseases including hiv and must have been involved in paediatric infectious diseases research while applicants for post 2 should also have undergone training in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery.
postgraduate academic qualifications and publications in learned journals as well as post qualification working experience in a tertiary institution will be an added advantage.
all applicants must be currently registered with the medical and dental association of nigeria.
for post 5, applicants must possess a first degree in law with a minimum of second class lower from a recognized university and b.l with at least 12 years experience of which six years must be a comparative institutions with evidence of legal practice in a law firm.
possession of masters degree in law will be an advantage.
practical litigation and solicitor experience will be required.
for post 6, applicants must possess b.sc/b. tech in computer science or engineering.
experience in installing, managing and maintenance of network servers, and wireless network and on various platfomers. nt servers, linux servers etc will be an added advantage.
membership of nigeria computer society (ncs) and registration with computer professionals council of nigeria (cpn) will be an added advantage.
applicants must have at least a minimum of 6 years post-qualification cognate experience.
for post 7, applicants are expected to be:
(a) qualified medical practitioner
(b) fully registered with the medical and dental council of nigeria
(c) must show interest in nuclear medicine
(d) have satisfactorily completed the nysc programme or be duly exempted by the nysc directorate.
for post 8, applicants must possess a university degree in physiotherapy from an approved institution, and must have been duly licensed to practice by the medical rehabilitation therapist board of nigeria (mrtbn).
in addition, applicants must have completed the nysc programme and have at least 3 years post qualification experience.
for post 9, applicants must possess b.pharm degree from a recognized university with at least 2-3 years working experience post nysc programme.
for post 10, applicants must possess west african school certificate or its equivalent and also registrable qualifications with nursing and midwifery council of nigeria i.e. r.n and r.m.
candidates who do not possess the two qualifications need not apply.
for post 11, applicants must possess a minimum of aimls diploma or bachelor degree in radiography (b.rad) from a recognized university or other equivalent qualification registrable with the radiographers board registration board (rrbn) with at least 2 years working experience post nysc programme.
for post 12, applicants must possess a minimum of m.sc. in health/radiation physics.
for post 13, applicants must possess a minimum of aimls diploma or bachelor degree in medical laboratory science (bmls) with at least one year post nysc
programme and have the current license to practice as medical laboratory scientist issued by the medical laboratory science council of nigeria (mls(on).
for post 14, applicants must possess b.sc. or hnd in statistics and/or computer science with at least 2-3 years post nysc.
successful candidate must be sound in the use of computers for nuclear medicine and should preferably have worked with international agency on medical and health projects.
postgraduates diploma in either information technology or postgraduate training in cancer registry is desirable.
