Timely And Reliable Access To Improved And High Quality Seeds Varieties And Planting Materials By Playing A Leading Role In The Growth And Development Of Viable Agricultural Inputs Systems, Supporting The Overall Growth Of The West Africa Agricultural Sector, And Improving The Agricultural Enabling Environment.
The Usaid Funded Project Maximizing Agricultural Revenue And Key Enterprises In Targeted Sites (Markets) Aims At Expanding Economic Opportunities By Increasing Agricultural Output, Value Added Processing And Private Sector Led Growth.

The Scope Of Collaboration Between Wasa And Markets In Promoting Private Sector Led Agricultural Growth Is Taking On A New Dimension And Wasa Is Looking For Suitable Candidates For The Following Position.

Output Marketing And Post Harvest Technology Specialist (M/F)
The Output Marketing And Post Harvest Technology Specialist (Oms) Will Be Based In Abuja And Will Work Under The Supervision Of The Regional Agribusiness Specialist Based In Bamako, Mali. The Oms Will Report Administratively To The Country Coordinator Based In Abuja.
Qualifications:
• Minimum M.Sc In Agricultural Science With Specialization In Output Marketing And/Or Post Harvest Technology.
• Minimum Of Five Years Experience In Output Marketing And/Or Post Harvest Technology.
• Excellent Grasp Of The Nigerian Agricultural Context And Especially A Good Knowledge Of The Agro-Industry.
• Excellent Communication Skills Both Verbally And Written. High Level Of Computer Literacy.
• Nigerian National.
• Only Local, Abuja-Based Candidates Will Be Considered.
